Heather Cook joins MRead board

Heather brings an exceptional background and a wealth of expertise to our team, with 33 years’ experience at the most senior levels of government, including 8 years as Deputy Director General of the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) where she served on the Executive Board and the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet. Her distinguished career spans several decades, during which she made significant contributions to national security. 

Her recent experience as ASIO Deputy Director General means she brings a wealth of experience, diversity and understanding of the challenges of the national security environment. ASIO has been at the forefront of change and managing new security challenges.  

With her profound knowledge and extensive experience in the field, Heather will play a pivotal role in guiding our strategic direction and enhance our understanding of complex security landscapes in an ever-evolving threat filled world.
