MRead Builds Global Partnerships at Eurosatory 2026

Represented by John Shanahan, Chief Executive Officer and Adam Modd, Head of Explosives and Drugs, the company credited Team Defence Australia and Austrade with providing the kind of access and introductions that would otherwise be difficult for a small Australian venture to secure at a global exhibition of this scale.

Among the key engagements, MRead met with Mark Gilchrist and David Hudson of Thales, Simon Humphrey CBE of Hanwha Group, and Oliver Reed of Global Clearance Solutions (GCS), with discussions identifying promising opportunities to partner and trial MRead's sensor technology across a range of platforms.

The company also spent significant time with Ukrainian delegations at the event, including NUMO Robotics, whose uncrewed ground vehicles (UGVs) are set to feature alongside MRead's sensors in the company's forthcoming trials with Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) in Ukraine.

A further highlight of the event was a session with Damien de Chillaz, CEO of KatalX, who shared insights on future directions for the combined sensor capabilities.

With engagements spanning defence and humanitarian demining in the space of a few weeks, MRead's leadership described the pace of activity as reflective of the growing momentum behind the company sensor technologies.
