MRead's COO, Henry Hamilton, had the fortune of representing MRead Limited at the 20th International Mine Action Symposium in Cavtat, Croatia.
Henry presented to the conference MRead's advances in Magnetic Resonance sensing, providing some context as to how our technology works, the challenges we are facing and shared our plans for trialling our first prototype.
There was a lot of interest in our new technology from the demining ecosystem. A copy of the presentation can be found here: https://lnkd.in/dFqHh3NT
He thoroughly enjoyed meeting people from 35 countries who are working on achieving a common goal, removing the threat of landmines. This translated into open and honest conversations, and for someone who is learning about the industry (it is unfortunate that humanitarian demining could be called an industry) it was especially helpful to have these conversations. It was great to make friends from around the world who are operating in this space.
A big thanks must go to HCR-CTRO for organising such a well-run conference and all the legends who are working in the humanitarian demining industry.
